Background
I graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington in1991 with a degree in Telecommunications/Business.
I have worked for large companies like Delta Airlines, Hillenbrand, Atlas Engineering/Environmental and WXIX/WKRC, was a "stay at home mom" for 12 years AND worked in our community as the Director of the Arts & Cultural Council and currently a Realtor with Lincoln Realty.

I have been married to Bill Burkart for 28 years and have two adult Children: Morgan and Hunter. We live on a family farm in Southeastern Decatur County. We are members of First Christian Church.
